Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

It is the beginning of June, and because June is my favorite month, I feel it is appropriate to make a few posts about the ways I am celebrating late Spring. Here is a photo journey of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.

I love the PA Ren Faire so much. I worked there for 5 years and I can never resist going back to visit whenever I get the chance. It is so merry and full of magic and I regret that I will be missing the 2017 season, because I will have left for Germany by then. Although the official faire season doesn’t start until August, last weekend they hosted FlavorFest: a food and wine festival with free admission and free wine tastings. Who could resist?!

The Herb Garden and Fleur de Lis Tea shop are two of my favorite spots. Gardening and drinking tea are two of my very favorite things, and when they are combined. . .pure bliss.

I was lucky enough to arrive early and therefore have minimum human interference in my photos. It is never too long before people become rowdy at the Faire, but of course that is half the fun.

If you ever find yourself visiting Pennsylvania some weekend from the beginning of August to the end of October, try your very best to visit the Renaissance Faire. You won’t regret it.
